Can you cancel my trip?

We hold all rights to cancel, change, or alter your trip for any manner due either not having enough guests (4 people minimum) or weather. We care about your safety and well being and we will make the best call possibly.

What if I want to cancel my trip?

 All cancellations made more than 120 days prior to departure will receive refund (less an administrative fee of $500 USD per person). This fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. However, if we manage to fill the trip after you cancel, we will apply the deposit towards any of our trips that you sign up for, during the following 12 months. If you cancel again during that period, you will lose the deposit. Cancellations made (91 to 120), calendar days prior to departure, are assessed a cancellation fee of 50% of the entire trip price, (including extensions). Cancellations made within 90 days of departure date will not be refunded, therefore we strongly recommend all guest purchase travel insurance. All cancellations must be made in writing by email to oceanoutcasts@gmail.com - received and acknowledged by Ocean Outcasts LLC. We are not responsible for cancellations due to medical or other reasons such as COVID-19. No fees will be refunded if you withdraw after an expedition begins. We are not responsible for any fees associated with non-refundable air travel, we highly recommend the purchase of travel insurance.

A non-refundable deposit of $500 USD is required to reserve a space on Ocean Outcasts Expeditions. 50% of the expedition cost (balance) is due 180 days prior to departure. 100% of the expedition cost (balance) is due 30 days prior to departure. A 4% surcharge is applied to payments made via credit card. A 3% paypal surcharge is applied to payments made using paypal. Payments can also be made via wire transfer. Just let us know and we will send you the bank transfer info. Please add $40 to cover bank fees. Payments can be made by mailing a U.S. Check, or U.S. Money Order Payable to: Ocean Outcasts LLC 498 E Boca Raton Rd, Boca Raton FL 33432.

Why a Catamaran?

Catamarans are the ultimate yacht for offering the combination of true freedom and authentic sailing with the contemporary comfort of a luxury motor yacht.

 

Key benefits of a catamaran are:

  • The wide beam makes them very stable, reducing seasickness

  • The wide beam also means they are extremely spacious

  • Very low fuel consumption

  • Panoramic views from the flybridge

  • Closeness and easy access to the water

  • Wide sun decks for more comfortable lounging on the deck than a typical sail yacht (especially the trampoline!)

  • Fewer stairs and less separation between the cockpit and the galley

  • More private and spacious sleeping quarters as cabins are separated from each other in the hulls. Cabins are usually doubles, making them perfect for couples.

  • Easier to navigate in shallow water which means anchoring closer to beaches than most boats!

  • The salon creates a natural wind blocker when anchored, so you can enjoy the back deck even on windy days

  • A feeling of being "on top of the world" when in the salon

What do I pack?

Your host Hannah will be in touch with your long before you depart on your trip. Depending on what trip you book she will send you a detailed packing itinerary, instructions, and all the information you could need to put your mind at ease!

How do I get from the airport to the place we are staying?

No need to fear, we literally handle everything. Once you book your trip and know which flight you will be on we will organize your personal airport pick up. No need to deal with Taxi's or Busses!

I have dietary restrictions, can you accommodate? 

Yes! What ever your dietary restrictions may be we will make sure you are comfortable and taken care of. Just communicate with your Hosts before arriving!

You claim your trips are all inclusive but you don't include alcohol... why?

We want our expeditions to be a safe space for everyone. Some people choose to come on vacations to refuel their bodies and minds and other enjoy having a drink or two while relaxing. We aren't here to judge, just to make sure everyone has a good time. While we want everyone to have a good time we do not want our expeditions to be based on a party mindset.
